Read by 4th is Philadelphia’s dynamic literacy movement, uniting families, leaders, and the community with the mission of protecting every child’s right to read.

Since the main target audience for this work is kids, ensuring things were friendly and engaging was a need. Also, ensuring these projects promoted interactivity to help Philly’s children become proficient readers by 4th grade.
